More than anything

All teenagers knew this was true. The process of growing up was nothing more than figuring out what doors hadn’t yet been slammed in your face. For years, parents tell you that you can be anything, have anything, do anything. That was why she’d been so eager to grow up-until she got to adolescence and hit a big fat wall of reality. As it turned out, she couldn’t have anything she wanted. You didn’t get to be pretty or smart or popular just because you wanted it. You didn’t control your own destiny, you were too busy trying to fit in.

It’s okay that things don’t always go right.......
That this is how life works, and how it will always work.
That it’s not going to be easy.............
Today, tomorrow, the next day, but it will somehow get better.

Sometimes you have to give up on people. Everyone that is in your journey is meant to be in your journey, but not everyone is meant to stay there.
This feels right, don't say goodnight.

My point is, there are a lot of people in the world. No one ever sees everything the same way you do;it just doesn’t happen. So when you find one person who gets a couple of things, especially if they’re important ones… you might as well hold on to them
